I'm Zach Hossler, a self-taught maker and father who started Hossler Engraving in April 2024 to build a better future for my family—one that gives me the freedom to be present for my daughter while creating meaningful, high-quality pieces for others.
I took a chance on myself and started this business without experience building websites, operating lasers, working with materials, creating designs, or turning ideas into finished products. I had to teach myself everything from the ground up.
I knew I needed to make a change not only for myself, but for my family. I wanted to create a future that would allow me to be present for the people I love, especially my daughter.
She means more to me than anything. Hossler Engraving has given me the flexibility to attend her sports, pick her up from school, and be there whenever she needs her dad. That time with her is the most meaningful part of this journey.
Building this business has required countless hours of learning, experimenting, making mistakes, and starting over. I've taught myself how to operate lasers, work with different materials, create designs, fine-tune settings, and turn ideas into finished pieces.
I've never wanted Hossler Engraving to be just a hobby. I want to build something real—something I can look back on and know I created through hard work and persistence.
This journey has challenged me in ways I never expected, but it has strengthened my determination. Hossler Engraving represents taking a chance on myself, creating a better future for my family, and building a life with more freedom and time with the people I love.
